Quincy A. Junor started his training under the direction of his mentor Gloria Moylan. He is a graduate from F. H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. He has also been a scholarship student at the Brooklyn Music School, The Ailey School, and Perry Mansfield Performing Arts School. He is a two-time recipient of the National Fine Arts Award for Liturgical Dance and a two-time recipient of the Altman Scholarship for dance. In 2004, he was the recipient of the NFAA/ARTS award in choreography. He was invited to perform at The John F. Kennedy Center for The Performing Arts and in Hong Kong at the Hong Kong International Dance Festival to perform Mark Morris’s Gloria, along with the Purchase Dance Corps. Mr. Junor was a member of Genesis Dance Company, Lane & Co., and Errol Grimes Dance Group. Currently he is a member of SYREN Modern Dance Company & Riedel Dance Theater. He holds a BFA in Dance from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance.
